What we store locally

Your active crossword progress, timer, and archive visit state are stored in your browser so the site can remember where you left off. That progress is not tied to a user account and is not sent to our own server.

Newsletter signups

If you enter your email to get the next puzzle, it is sent to Buttondown, our email provider, so we can deliver newsletter updates. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand aggregate traffic and performance. These tools help us improve the product without building a heavy tracking stack.
